As a Customer Application Specialist (CAS) in the Europe Sales - Diagnostics & Genomics group you support that journey helping our customers in the Pathology laboratories. We provide timely and high-quality diagnoses within the cancer diagnostic setting, through trusted answers and insights that advance the quality of life. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a field-based role, focusing on the London, South East and East UK regions, within the Diagnostics and Genomics (DGG) Division of Agilent as a member of the UK Customer Application Specialist team, supporting Field Sales in the Pathology & Healthcare setting.

In this role you will be required to:

  • Provide in-field pre-sales technical support to UK Sales Representatives to ensure high value sales are progressed, including Customer Facing Team technical visits, on-site demonstrations, workshops, and tender support.
  • Provide post-sales support to the customer, including onsite instrument and product training, validation support, optimisation / adaptation of products to customers’ needs troubleshooting, ongoing technical support and customer care.
  • Collaborate, support and act as backup when required the Customer Technical Support Team / Technical Support Specialist 
  • Attend internal meetings and product trainings
  • Report time for onsite visits and administrative tasks
  • Be the face of Agilent by ensuring global policies and standard processes are adopted and followed. On top, help build customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty

Qualifications
  • University degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent field
  • Proficient experience within pathology workflow, H&E staining, special stains, Immunohistochemistry and ISH
  • Fluent English skills
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving is an advantage
  • Happy to regularly travel up to 80%, primarily within the London, South East and East UK regions, but travel throughout the UK may also be required
  • Valid UK driver’s license
