Position Overview: 

The Account Representative position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and detail-oriented team player. This role entails full-time hours from Monday to Friday, providing flexible scheduling. The primary responsibilities include facilitating billing and collection of medical services, resolving issues with insurance companies, conducting audits to ensure proper payments, and serving as a liaison for Salud clients while adhering to company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the billing and collection process for medical services.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve account-related issues promptly.
  • Conduct audits on accounts to guarantee appropriate payments from responsible parties.
  • Identify revenue leakage by auditing previously worked accounts.
  • Act as a liaison for Salud clients by maintaining communication with client departments, third-party carriers, and the general public, while upholding Salud's standards of service, mission, and vision.
Requirements
  • Proactive learner with a strong drive for continuous self-improvement.
  • Ability to contribute effectively to a team environment while also capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new computer programs and websites efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex issues effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a cubicle office environment with limited face-to-face interaction with the public.
  • Familiarity with insurances, Medicaid, and Medicare within hospital and/or physician office settings.
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding would be advantageous.
