  • Develop and evaluate algorithms, models, and simulation tools for airspace management, conflict detection and resolution, and integration of unmanned aerial vehicles into the national airspace system.

  • Design operational procedures and workflows for the deployment and integration of AAM/IAM/UAM/RAM/UTM/U-Space systems into existing air traffic management infrastructure, considering factors such as scalability, interoperability, and human factors.

  • Bridge the gap between research and operations by translating theoretical concepts and experimental findings into practical solutions and operational guidelines that can be implemented by AAM/IAM/UAM/RAM/UTM/U-Space stakeholders.

  • Partner with universities, government agencies, national labs, and professional organizations to meet organizational objectives within time and budget constraints. In particular in the EU SESAR program.

  • Motivated self-starter with a strong enthusiasm to grow technologies, and business value propositions.

  • Experience with simulation tools and platforms for airspace modelling and analysis (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, STK).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C/C++, with experience in developing and implementing algorithms for ATM and/or AAM/IAM/UAM/RAM/UTM/U-Space.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and initiatives for UAS (e.g., ASTM, RTCA, CORUS) and NextGen airspace modernization efforts.

  • Willing to champion and challenge the technical status quo.
