The opportunity

As a Motor Vehicle Assessor at Hello Claims, you will:

  • Complete the allocated assessments with diligence and expertise.
  • Comprehensively manage an insurance claim, including the submission of assessment report, completion of scope of works and costing estimation.
  • Independently prepare assessment reports and send them directly to clients.
  • Build strong relationships with our customers, clients, trades, and internal staff to gather essential information and resolve insurance claim inquiries.
  • Maintain regular communication with Management on technical or customer service issues.

About you

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the commercial motor claims and/or passenger vehicle claims field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a previous Motor Assessor role within the Australian market.
  • Trade qualifications in the Automotive field and have professional memberships.
  • Knowledge of the latest repair methodology.
  • An innovative mindset and a willingness to contribute to the company's development.
  • Have strong attention to detail and care about the quality of your work.
  • Excellent customer service skills including ability to communicate with ease.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing resources and demands effectively.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Proficiency in using systems, software, databases, reporting tools, and communication platforms.
