Solution Architect
The Opportunity:
As a solutions architect, you’ve built numerous systems, enabling you to not only devise the optimal solution for any tech-related problem but also foresee and mitigate potential issues. You'll have strong software development skills and can understand how different parts of an IT ecosystem connect and interact with each other to help our mission.
As a member of our team in the role of a solutions architect, you’ll convert the client’s IT requirements and future objectives into a strategic plan by creating architectural products, design specifications, work statements, requirements, and scripts. Under your guidance, we’ll revolutionize our client’s use of technology, encompassing cloud migration, integration of cutting-edge technology, and modernization of outdated systems.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with solution architecture
Experience working in a technical field with a focus on software development and modernization efforts, including forward-leaning technology, such as cloud automation platforms, enterprise data, and open-source tech stacks
Experience with architecting high-performance and high-availability systems
Experience with serving as a solution architect integrating disparate technologies into cohesive technical solutions that directly address client challenges
Experience with developing and delivering tailored, complex presentations to clients that illustrate solutions to client problems and drive forward a capture
Experience in partnering with senior-level client stakeholders, providing technical thought leadership, and bringing innovation to achieve business needs
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with establishing frameworks for systems modernization efforts
Experience with digital Enterprise Architecture tools
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP underlying services
Possession of excellent strategic abilities
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Master's degree
Cloud Architecture, Software Development, or DevSecOps Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
