About the role:

Zero Hash is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist with legal research, document preparation, and various administrative tasks related to our operations. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen interest in digital assets and financial technology.

Responsibilities

• Legal Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct legal research on regulatory developments, compliance requirements, and industry best practices related to cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
  • Summarize findings and provide actionable insights to the legal team.
    
    
• Document Preparation and Management:
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, including contracts, regulatory filings, and compliance reports.
  • Ensure all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
    
    
• Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining legal calendars, and managing correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and records.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments, including Compliance, Operations, and Business Development, to support legal and regulatory needs.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing internal communications related to legal and compliance matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within the fintech, financial services, or cryptocurrency sectors.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and issues related to digital assets and financial technology.
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
