UX/UI Designer

Routeware is an integrated technology for waste and recycling that achieve fleet and community engagement goals by digitizing every stage of the waste lifecycle. About the role:
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our product team. As we undertake an ambitious project to consolidate all mobile app functionalities into a single platform, we need a skilled designer who will be instrumental in creating a seamless and intuitive user interface. Our apps are critical tools for solid waste collection drivers across North America, the UK, and soon, additional global markets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align and optimize user experiences across diverse applications to ensure a smooth transition for our users.
Principal Responsibilities:
● Design and refine interfaces for our mobile applications, ensuring consistency across all platforms while catering to specific regional needs.
● Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into user-centered design concepts.
● Create and iterate on wireframes, user flows, and mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
● Develop both low-fidelity (Low-Fi) and high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) wireframes and user flows.
● Conduct user research and usability tests to guide design decisions and understand user interactions and needs in different markets.
● Monitor app performance and user feedback post-launch to iterate and refine designs continually.
● Ensure all UI/UX designs meet high standards of readability and accessibility for all users, including those in challenging environments. ● Collaborate with the Routeware marketing team to define and document the Routeware Style Guide, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines across all digital platforms.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or equivalent experience
● 5+ years of experience in UX/UI Design.
● Proven expertise with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator.
● In-depth knowledge of user-centered design and visual design principles.
● Solid understanding of prototyping and wireframing.
● Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills, ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
● English: Level C1 is required.
