About the role:
Avara is looking for a staff Move engineer to innovate and build upon our various products and services. You should have a strong passion for web3 technology and an understanding of smart contract development and blockchain systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and writing smart contracts in Move. You will also be interacting with smart contracts in solidity and other EVM based networks. You will work closely with the Avara leadership, product and technical teams.
How you can make an impact:Designing, crafting, and testing secure Move based codeParticipating in the development of protocol-level infrastructure and tools Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionalityResponding to security vulnerabilities, simulating the scenario, and evaluating a strategy and responseDebugging and troubleshooting issues that arise during the development processReviewing code written by other engineers to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications with a focus on securityStaying up to date with developments in the web3 ecosystem and incorporating new technologies as appropriateProviding technical guidance, support, and mentoring to other engineers as neededLet's connect if:You are someone who builds, innovates, and ships features with the highest standardsYou have expertise in Move and have high degree of comfort with advanced conceptsYou have experience with network and distributed systems programming in particular as a nice-to-have as wellYou research constantly and keep up with the latest hacks, tooling, and security practicesAre passionate about DeFi and Social Experience with Rust is desirable Haven’t quite met all the criteria?
