Overview

Post Trade Automation Technology within the Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank is responsible for building and managing the Documentation & Settlement applications. We support the trade lifecycle across Interest Rates, Credit, Equities (OTC Derivatives), Foreign Exchange & Money Market businesses. Deutsche Bank is consistently one of the top 5 Foreign Exchange banks globally. This is facilitated by our ability to process hundreds of thousands of deals daily with minimal operational costs through our world leading FXPCA platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Analysis, design and development of FXPCA system components with enhancements to FX Clearing and CLSNet settlement a priority

  • Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing planned engineering changes as part of agile feature team

  • Implement and comply with bank policies (naming conventions, encryption, security settings, capacity, availability and other non-functional requirements)

  • Design, implementation, execution and results analysis of automated unit, integration, regression, resilience and performance tests

  • Code reviews based on the four-eye principle

  • Level-3 technical support as well as problem and root cause analysis

Skills You’ll Need

  • B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc. preferably in Computer-Science

  • A hands-on technologist with extensive in C based technologies and CI/CD pipeline

  • Knowledge of other languages – Java, Python and Database - Oracle/SQL/ PL SQL

  • Strong analytical and design skills with knowledge of Infrastructure - Linux, Shell Script

  • Dev Ops Tools - Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Teamcity, Artifactory

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience in Investment Banking/Financial domain

  • Proficient communication skills (written/verbal)

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
