Role Summary:

As a Senior Software Architect at Founders Workshop, you'll be entrusted with designing and structuring scalable, high-quality software systems. Your role will encompass making pivotal technical decisions across all phases of the software development lifecycle, guiding the development team in effectively implementing proposed architectures, resolving intricate technical challenges, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to grasp and address their needs and requirements. Additionally, you'll be responsible for meticulously documenting system architecture and furnishing technical guidance to the development team, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the development process.

What You'll Do:

• Design Scalable Systems: Develop and structure scalable, high-quality software systems using recognized patterns such as the three-tier monolith, queue systems, and fan-out distribution.
• Technical Leadership: Make crucial technical decisions at all stages of the software development lifecycle, guiding the development team in the effective implementation of proposed architectures.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve complex technical problems that may arise during software development, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand and address their needs and requirements.
• Documentation and Guidance: Properly document the system architecture and provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the development process.

Who You Are:

• Experienced Node.js Developer: Solid experience in Node.js, NestJS, TypeORM, and TypeScript, with a proven track record as an architect and over 3 years of software development experience.
• Design Patterns Expert: Deep knowledge of software design patterns such as the three-tier monolith, queue systems, and fan-out distribution.
• Database Proficient: Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and its optimization.
• AWS Skilled: Experience in using AWS CodePipeline, ECS, ECR, Fargate, and Load Balancer technologies.
• Detailed oriented: Ensures that every aspect of the development is of high quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, enhancing the usability and security of the final product.
• Adaptable: You are quick to adjust to new challenges and changes in project requirements, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Reliable Communicator: Your proactive and clear communication style ensures that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. You're meticulous in your work, always aiming to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
