MASINT Analyst, Mid

The Opportunity:

Critical decisions are made every single day in the intelligence community. What if you could use your analytical skills to help them make informed decisions? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled MASINT analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers.

 

As a MASINT analyst, you will use your specialized skills to discover and characterize air, space and counter space, and missile threats to enable full-spectrum multi-domain operations. You will utilize your understanding and familiarity with space MASINT capabilities including Space Object Identification, including narrowband or wideband, and Science and Technical collections to focus on space domain awareness, operational environment, and space operations. You will act as an action officer for the branch chief, using your familiarity with DOD and IC intelligence functions. Additionally, you will utilize your understanding of the collection process to influence the MASINT collection. If you have strong technical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect our national security and inform our nation’s leaders.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with processing and exploiting scientific and technical intelligence data
  • Ability to analyze, assess, and exploit technically derived MASINT to discover and characterize adversary space and counter space capabilities
  • Ability to apply MASINT exploitation to inform intelligence products
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED  

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in various MASINT program elements and missions, including radar, Electro-Optical, Radio Frequency, Laser, and Bistatic
  • Ability to apply MASINT exploitation skills to inform intelligence products used in Space and Counter Space Operations
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
