Sr. HR Data & Reporting Analyst

Your role:
As the SR. HR Data & Reporting analyst you will have the opportunity to leverage your analytical expertise to drive strategic decision-making and optimize our performance, transforming HR data into actionable insights and stories that will drive our organizational success. As a Sr. HR Data & Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting HR-related data to inform key business decisions and HR strategies. You will be responsible for collecting HR metrics, conducting data analysis, and generating content that will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, retention, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and workforce planning. This role will report to the Chief People Officer, while supporting the broader HR leadership team. 

Your responsibilities:

Reporting and Dashboards

  • Independently Evaluate workforce productivity metrics and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with HR teams to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are strategically aligned with our organizational goals and driving understanding of risks and opportunities.

  • Leverage analysis to independently recommend process improvements and enhance workforce productivity.

  • Review and incorporate Benchmarked Data; Integrate, correlate, and compare HR data from across platforms and channels to build a vibrant and complete picture of our workforce.

  • Utilize external data to benchmark key metrics and provide competitive and market insights.

  • Work autonomously in conjunction with HR and business leaders to identify data needs and translating them to specifications, reports, dashboards, and result analysis in alignment with HR’s Key Results

  • Develop and implement advanced data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing sophisticated data validation and cleansing activities.

Actionable Insights

  • Independently analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will empower our leaders to make informed decisions.

  • Create reports and visually appealing dashboards that communicate key findings and actionable recommendations.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of internal and external workforce data to assess talent supply and demand, predict talent gaps, and model future scenarios to accurately identify and prioritize talent risks and opportunities.

Team Member Persona Maintenance

  • Maintain and strategically update our team member and talent personas to ensure relevant to current state HR programs.

  • Educate HR and business on opportunities to integrate personas into strategies.

  • Provide guidance and governance on new persona creation.

Business Support

  • Regularly support project and programs by creating storytelling slides with minimal supervision.

  • Create slides to support board or senior leadership regarding talent workforce.

  • Partner closely with business leaders to deeply understand their strategy, goals, and priorities.

  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

  • Deliver analytics and insights tailored to the business and designed to positively influence leaders for change.

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Three (3) years working specifically with Human Resources analytics.

  • Proven experience as an HR Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of HR processes and data analysis techniques.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel).

  • Experience working with HR systems and databases (e.g., HRIS, ATS). Workday experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to quickly and deeply understand the organization's goals, challenges, and industry trends to align workforce strategies with business objectives.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data findings into actionable insights.

  • Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR and workforce planning strategies. Strong understanding of talent acquisition, retention, engagement, development, performance management, succession planning, total rewards, and diversity and inclusion and principles and best practices to deliver effective guidance to business leaders.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, formatting, and accuracy

Good to have:

  • Workday report creation or HRIS experience

  • Creating presentations for board level review

  • Power BI

  • HR Business Partner experience

  • This role may be remote or in one of our Ardent Mills locations, Denver strongly preferred.

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:

We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $82,900.00 - $110,541.20, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 10% Annual.
