Job description

About Paxos

Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.

We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard and Interactive Brokers.

About the role

Growth is the team at Paxos that builds and manages partnerships with our largest and most strategic clients. The focus of this role is to build a business around a new offering we’re taking to market with payments companies. We see a huge opportunity to integrate stablecoin technology into merchant acceptance, payout and settlement flows, and the market is really starting to take off. You’ll be working hand-in-hand with a cross-functional team across Product, Engineering, Product Marketing and Solutions Engineering to take the product from concept to launch to scale. You’ll have the opportunity to change the way the payments landscape operates at scale. If you’re a builder who likes taking a product from 0 to 1, then this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

  • Forge close partnerships with Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal and Finance teams to conceptualize and bring to market innovative product solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies in collaboration with cross-functional partners, establishing clear direction, goals, timelines and milestones for product development.
  • Navigate regulatory landscapes in tandem with Legal (Commercial & Regulatory) experts, ensuring regulatory compliance and facilitating strategic partnerships through well-crafted contracts.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Paxos leadership and key stakeholders to align on strategic objectives, optimize resource utilization and ensure the execution of the right strategies.
  • Spearhead the identification, negotiation and closure of partnerships with top-tier executives from global enterprises, driving the launch of groundbreaking products across fintech, payments, and financial institutions.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration within fintech, financial services, or digital assets, with a proven track record of launching products from ideation to fruition.
  • Extensive expertise in payments and financial services, coupled with a strong background in selling B2B enterprise technology to both domestic and global enterprises.
  • Proficiency in navigating regulated environments, with a keen understanding of regulatory frameworks and their implications on product development and market entry.
  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic industries, with a passion for overcoming challenges and driving success in ambiguous environments.
  • An insatiable desire to learn, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset, driven by the opportunity to be part of a winning team.
  • Excitement for pioneering ventures with global impact, particularly those aimed at expanding access to financial services and reshaping the future of commerce on a global scale.
