Overview:

Job Title: Senior Technology Product Manager – Internal Systems

 

Introduction:

 

We are seeking a Senior Technology Product Manager to lead the development, enhancement & support of our internal systems.

 

This role is pivotal in driving the digital transformation of internal operations including licensing and compliance, intranet/employee solutions, and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology product management, a keen understanding of internal corporate needs, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.

 

Salary:  $155K - $175K/yr d.o.e.

Location: Remote OK - If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule

Responsibilities:
  1. Strategy Development: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for internal systems, focusing on automation, user experience improvements, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of internal technology products from planning to development, launch, and continuous improvement.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders including HR, Legal, Compliance, and IT departments to gather requirements, translate them into product features, and prioritize needs effectively.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and associated IT staff, fostering an environment of agile and lean practices.
  5. Vendor Management: Select and manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners to ensure they meet contractual obligations and deliverables.
  6. Risk Management: Identify potential technology risks and compliance issues; work with the appropriate teams to mitigate risks and ensure the company meets all regulatory obligations.
  7. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness and impact of the internal systems on business operations.
  8. Innovation: Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends that can be leveraged to enhance internal systems and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in product management, specifically with a focus on technology and enterprise solutions.
  3. Strong understanding of internal business processes such as HR operations, legal compliance, and internal communications.
  4. Experience with ERP, HRIS, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  5. Experience/Awareness of Compliance needs, specifically for Mortgage is preferred
  6. Experience in working with internal and 3rd party platforms (including vendor management experience)
  7. Prior experience in managing products for internal stakeholders within a large corporation.
  8. Technical acumen with a good understanding of software development processes and web technologies.
  9. Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, complex organizational environment.
  10. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive teams to deliver high-quality products within defined timelines.
  11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
