The Physician Ambassador assists the RCMO to support the clinical integrity of the cardiology and other medical programs VitalSolution provides to hospitals delivered through the Quality Program. This position will work with the RCMO to update, develop and implement medical procedures and standards as the health care industry evolves. The Physician Ambassador will also be responsible to assist the RCMO and VitalSolution recruiting leadership with the recruitment of physicians. These responsibilities are in addition to their duties working as a full-time physician for VitalSolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a professional working relationship with all VitalSolution team members
Supports the clinical quality and integrity of VitalSolution cardiology and other medical programs by assisting with the facilitation of the 360° Quality Program
Acts as a liaison between the VitalSolution RCMO and physicians
Documents findings of quality program
Ensures quality delivery of patient care by understanding and acknowledging that they are responsible for personally filling any scheduling gaps that exist (after all reasonable efforts have been made) at their normal rate for applicable healthcare facilities, as defined by the RCMO
Assists recruiting by reviewing candidate Curriculum Vitae and clinical history to approve candidates for further evaluation
Conducts reference check calls
Conducts initial phone screen evaluations
Actively identifies potential physician candidates and refers them to the VitalSolution recruiting team
Participates in conferences and VitalSolution recruiting events
Performs additional duties as requested by management
Some travel
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Work as a physician for VitalSolution in a full-time capacity
Medical degree, either a M.D. or a D.O.
Board Certification is preferred
Experience in an administrative position
Experience working in a team environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone, email, video conference and face to face contact
- Ability to use manual dexterity, visual acuity and hearing acuity to effectively use and operate office related equipment such as but not limited to a computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard and mouse
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a keyboard and workstation with low periods of reaching and standing
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at time

Compensation Range
$34,600.00 - $42,500.00
Benefits include: health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company-paid life & disability insurance, 401K w/ employer match, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
