Senior iOS Developer

Gorilla Logic is working with our client, who is an industry leader in providing the largest resources of consciousness-expanding videos, to help build their team of highly intelligent and capable engineers. We are looking for a Sr. iOS Web Developer, who will work with a team of engineers building and maintaining our customer’s mobile and tv apps. This is a key role within our customer’s engineering team, requiring extensive web development experience with iOS development using Swift. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.

Technical Requirements

*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
*5+ years of native iOS app development experience
*Experience with Swift
*Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
*Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
*Good understanding of core iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
*Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
*Have published multiple iOS apps
*Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
*Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members

Bonus Skills

*Experience building Apple TV apps
*Experience with other TV streaming devices like Fire TV, Roku, Chromecast & Tizen
*Experience with graphQL and PostgreSQL
*Javascript experience is a plus, specifically on React/redux and Node experience
*Prefer candidates with a university degree in Computer Science
