Your missions

The Opportunity:

The Global IT Sourcing leader is responsible for leading and managing the sourcing activities related to IT products and services on a global scale. This role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize costs, mitigate risks, and drive value across the IT supply chain.

Position will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment with business objectives and to achieve desired outcomes. Core responsibilities will include working closely with business partners across multiple business functions, category reporting (spend, savings, lead times, supplier management), and delivering global efficiencies.

Additionally, the role is responsible for all phases of sourcing that require skills to identify cost-saving opportunities, ensure continuity of supply, create competitive environments, negotiate effectively, and generate contracts to support seamless CAPEX and key project timelines aligned with company objectives.
Essential Functions:
Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for IT products and services to achieve cost savings, risk mitigation, and value creation goals. Aimed at reducing indirect category costs and supply risks, accountable for approximately $90M - $100M spend.
  • Utilize market intelligence and analysis to identify opportunities and risks, including spend analysis, commodity pricing forecasts, and contract coverage analysis.
  • Lead a team of sourcing professionals to execute sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors, conduct market research, and analyze industry trends to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT leaders and business partners, to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and oversee supplier performance to ensure service level agreements are met and contract terms are adhered to.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT sourcing function to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value delivery.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the IT sourcing landscape, including emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes, and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on sourcing-related matters, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Represent the IT sourcing function in senior leadership meetings and strategic planning discussions, advocating for sourcing priorities and initiatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred (yellow, green or black belt)
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in IT sourcing roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sourcing strategies in a global context.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with matrixed global project responsibility preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
Skills/Competencies:
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Knowledge of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with relevant sourcing tools and technologies, such as e-sourcing platforms, contract management systems, and spend analytics software.
Working Conditions
  • EU remote / WFH position  
  • Travel: up to 25% - 35%
