The Technology Strategy & Architecture (TS&A) organization is responsible for building and maturing core capabilities to run Zoetis Tech & Digital with the discipline of a business, driving a cohesive approach to strategy planning, portfolio execution, and value realization while optimizing technology costs. 

The Strategic Portfolio Management Office (SPMO) has a unique opportunity within the ZTD PMO for an experienced Platform Lead who will be responsible for defining the utilization of the strategic portfolio and project management platform to enable portfolio management, project management, delivery execution and value realization. This role supports the needs of the PMO Lead, TS&A Leadership team, ZTD portfolio leads, resource managers and project managers.   

Responsibilities:

• Work with Portfolio Planning Lead to support the selection and implementation of an enterprise strategic portfolio management tool while providing continued support for current platform
• Own tool configuration in support of portfolio and project management needs (the delivery framework, processes, data and reporting needs)
• Understand how the tool supports portfolio governance, our delivery framework, and project management processes including annual planning, project estimating, portfolio prioritization, demand management, financial management, resource management, scenario modeling, and value tracking
• Address all reporting needs including the development of a self-service reporting capability
• Act as the technology application owner for the enterprise ensuring security requirements, compliance guidelines, and service level agreements are met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5+ years of experience working in the portfolio and/or PMO function

• Strong understanding of the portfolio and project management function including planning, financial management, resource management, project estimating, portfolio prioritization, demand management, scenario modeling, and value tracking

• Experience using Microsoft Project Server via Project Online and PowerBI is a plus
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS
• Experience with different portfolio and project management tools and technologies
• Familiarity with the functioning of a PMO
• Ability to address unique reporting needs as required
• Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly manner
• Proven ability to train and support the user community
• Strong customer service orientation and can-do attitude
• Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and execute in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail is required with the ability to view the larger picture
• Highly motivated, accountable, collaborative and self-directed
• Must be able to communicate well with colleagues at all levels of the organization

Travel: < 10%

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in Colorado. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $89,000 - $145,000

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California, NJ Remote, NY Remote, or Washington. Base pay may vary based on location and
other factors.

Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $164,000
