Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role in developing and closing new business opportunities with enterprise clients in Belgium within the life sciences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and maximizing sales revenue through effective business development strategies
  • Managing a pipeline of revenue and activities to ensure profitable growth
  • Assisting with RFPs, tenders, and proposals
  • Developing sales skills, market knowledge, and best practices to achieve targets
  • Engaging with C-Level and Director-level contacts within client accounts and target prospects
  • Generating leads through proactive prospecting and responding to inbound inquiries
  • Positioning the company's solutions and services to meet client needs
  • Implementing sales and pipeline-building market strategies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales development and deal closing in a B2B context
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Experience in the language industry is highly desirable
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships and deliver compelling presentations
  • Account mapping, planning, and management skills
  • Understanding of competitors, unique selling points, and commercial awareness
