Job description

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote Lead Aveva PI SME to support one of our largest clients. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Required:

· 7+ years of experience with the installation, configuration, and monitoring of Aveva PI System servers, interfaces, and user tools.

· Experience with Aveva PI System tag creation

· 5+ years of experience with performance optimization and monitoring system health for the Aveva PI System.

· Strong understanding of the following:

· PI Data Archive

· PI Asset Analytics

· PI Asset Framework

· Proven ability to monitor and maintain Aveva PI System security, including the deployment of patches.

Desired:

· Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Certifications related to Aveva PI System management and security.

· Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with IT and operational teams.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Aveva PI System servers, interfaces, and user tools to ensure optimal performance and security.

· Oversee the creation, monitoring, and maintenance of Aveva PI System tags.

· Conduct performance optimization activities and monitor system health to ensure high availability and reliability of the Aveva PI System.

· Manage the PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Asset Analytics, PI Event Frames, PI Vision, and PI Notifications components.

· Ensure the Aveva PI System's security by monitoring system activities and deploying necessary patches and updates.

· Collaborate with IT and operational teams to support system integration, data management, and the resolution of technical issues.

· Provide expert advice and support for project planning, implementation, and ongoing operational excellence in the use of Aveva PI System.
