Your missions

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. To accomplish this, JDRF has invested more than $2.5 billion in research funding since our inception. We are an organization built on a grassroots model of people connecting in their local communities, collaborating regionally for efficiency and broader fundraising impact, and uniting on a national stage to pool resources, passion, and energy. We collaborate with academic institutions, policymakers, and corporate and industry partners to develop and deliver a pipeline of innovative therapies to people living with T1D. Our staff and volunteers in chapters across the United States and our five international affiliates are dedicated to advocacy, community engagement, and our vision of a world without T1D. For more information, please visit www.jdrf.org or follow us on Twitter @JDRF.

As a JDRF team member, you can look forward to interesting and challenging work, building strong relationships with fellow staff and our network of volunteers, and having a meaningful impact on the lives of everyone affected by this devastating disease. JDRF supports a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

As the National manager, Corporate Development Content, you will write compelling content and design visually engaging materials to support our corporate fundraising efforts. You will play a key role in crafting various resources, including but not limited to corporate partner impact reports, sales tools and presentations for corporate partnership opportunities, corporate partnership website content, social media content specific to corporate partnerships, email campaigns, and other corporate partner marketing materials. Your role will help us effectively communicate our mission, initiatives, and impact to current and potential corporate partners, and will inspire action and engagement.

This role will report to the AVP of Corporate Development but will partner closely with the Marketing & Communications Department to ensure all materials are on brand, leveraging existing templates, and aligned with JDRF’s look, feel, tone, and strategic communications priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Craft persuasive presentations and proposals to attract and retain corporate partners, effectively communicating the value of partnering with JDRF and the impact of prospective partners’ support.
  • Design visually appealing sales resources, pitch decks, one-pagers, campaign collateral, and proposals to support the Corporate Development team in their outreach and relationship-building efforts.
  • Design and produce innovative, on-brand creative executions to support corporate sales and partnerships.
  • Work within specified project scope & brand guidelines to deliver on-brand assets.
  • Create comprehensive impact reports to showcase the positive outcomes and benefits of our corporate partnerships.
  • In partnership with Marketing and Communications and Data and Technology colleagues, oversee and update the corporate partners section of the JDRF website, ensuring that content aligns with brand and brand voice, and is accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of our partnerships and initiatives.
  • In partnership with the National Social Media Team, develop engaging social graphics for social media posts and campaigns about corporate partners and partnerships.
  • Develop clear and concise copy and/or design work that effectively communicates key messages and engages our target audience, through both digital and print.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications and Development team members to develop content that aligns with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Work closely with the internal Marketing and Communications team and other internal stakeholders to align messaging, coordinate campaigns, and maximize impact.
  • Write and edit content for various platforms, ensuring adherence to brand voice and style guidelines, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Execute and apply brand style guide elements, including logo, branding, typography, iconography, photography and activation materials, ensuring consistency with brand positioning. Leverage existing word and ppt templates for presentation materials.
  • Prepare final assets according to specific print production guidelines at high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and replication.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Review and provide feedback on content created by other team members as needed.
  • Assist with various content creation and design tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • College degree (Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design preferred).
  • Possesses portfolio showcasing creative and impactful work.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Experience in writing sales materials preferred.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
