Your missions

We're looking for a Product Designer to join our dynamic team for our fully remote, long-term, full-time position! You'll be an integral part of our product and development teams, collaborating closely to turn feedback into innovative features. We're seeking someone experienced in product design and UX research, who takes pride in their work and is passionate about crafting exceptional experiences for our customers. Requirements

What You’ll Do:
  • Help shape the vision for product design and UX for Hubstaff
  • Participate in improving our design process from discovery, ideation, wireframing, and visual design, all the way to production with engineering teams
  • Help improve our UX research through prototypes, testing, feedback, and interviews. Work towards a better understanding of our users. 
  • Work closely with your PM and Engineering Manager to identify problems and opportunities, help frame user problems and goals, prioritize key product needs and requirements, and push solutions through to completion 
  • Deliver pixel perfect designs for products, features, enhancements, customer requests, etc.
  • Assist in building out our design system ensuring the consistency of visual designs and UI/UX components, owning consistency across all parts of the product.
  • Own the overall user experience for your squads projects and participate in delivering projects from its conception to implementation and subsequent improvements
  • Share design learnings and decisions with the broader design team
  • Advocate for user needs and push for a better product experience

What You Should Have:
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience designing sophisticated yet friendly digital experiences
  • Experience and passion for UX research 
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience building a design system
  • Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers
  • Experience /  proclivity to manage design projects
  • Comfort with unknowns, ownership over projects, and ability to adapt to dynamic project environments
  • Professional SaaS startup experience

You’ll also be a part of our close-knit Product department and Design group, collaborating across product areas and contributing to the design culture and process here at Hubstaff. 

Additional details about Hubstaff offer:

  • We expect our professionals to work 40 hours/week and hope they can work with us for years to come.
  • For this particular position, we are looking for someone living in Canada.
  • This is a 100% remote job position.
  • This is an employment position (FT: 40Hrs/week) through our EOR partner (employer of record).
  • The annual salary will be between CAD 100K - CAD 112K.
