We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hunter/Acquisition Account Executive to join our revenue team. You will report to the Director of Sales. The Hunter/Acquisitions Account Executive’s primary objective is to source new sales opportunities through outbound hunting. Using a consultative approach, you will determine customer needs and provide them with business solutions, while bringing previous industry knowledge to the team.  You will actively seek out new sales opportunities through outreach, networking, and social media. Take the role of a “hunter” to maximize new customer acquisition and build a sales pipeline.

What You'll Do

  • Understand and promote the company’s product suite and value proposition.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate opportunities.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive pipeline generation plan.
  • Identify key influencers, champions and decision makers within customer organization
  • Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to increase sales pipeline
  • Run your own outreach to create opportunities to hit your targets
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Execute effective discovery sessions to identify pain, qualify your champion and drive urgency
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around PeerSpot offerings to prepare and deliver appropriate proposals that accurately describe those products while setting proper expectations
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Participate in exhibitions, conferences and onsite client meetings on behalf of the company
  • Negotiate and close deals by handling rebuttals and objections

Qualifications

  • A self-starter with a stellar sales track record, a strategic approach to sales, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the Technology, Tech-Marketing or Software industries
  • Hunter seller with 3+ years of experience of outbound sales
  • Quota track record; true sales hunter mentality with experience prospecting, building and closing pipeline
  • Strong ability to navigate deep discovery processes
  • Experience finding and qualifying a champion in an organization
  • Experience in the adoption and execution of  sales methodologies such as MEDDIC
  • Knowledge of the current and evolving digital media and demand generation landscapes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Competitive mentality and a confident, determined outlook
  • Resilience - the ability to cope with the ups and downs of the outbound sales motions
  • Strength in building strong relationships with C-level executives and their teams.
  • Fluent use of Salesforce.

The annual base salary for this position in California and Washington ranges from $100,000 - $150,000. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position in California and Washington. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, and location. Market and organizational factors are also considered in addition to a base salary and a benefits package.
