Strategy Collective is looking for an experienced Local SEO Expert to develop and execute the firm’s local SEO projects for our consumer healthcare clients in the USA.

Position: Local SEO Analyst

Reports To: Director of SEO

Status: Full-Time Position

Location: US, Remote

Industry: Marketing Agency - Healthcare Focused

The Local SEO Analyst will ensure the delivery of work to boost our healthcare clients’ organic traffic from a local SEO perspective. 

You will interface with the agency leadership, client c-suite and leadership teams, and many agency partners in the role. This position will work closely with consultants, development, social media, content team, analytics, and campaign marketing teams to create organic traffic and conversion results for clients.

The ideal individual for this role is passionate about the future of Organic Search and has a strong background in developing Google Business Profiles, citation building (Yext, Bright Local, or similar platform), content strategies for SEO, technical on-site SEO, and SEO analytics.

Requirements

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and QA our Local SEO implementation process. 
  • Frequently think about ways to package our local SEO services into repeatable programs for client growth and development.
  • Have a deep understanding of our client brand's local SEO needs, including GBP, reviews, citations, keyword strategy, on-site local SEO, etc.
  • Run Local SEO experiments to identify strategies that work and document the results.
  • Monitor Google updates and provide strategic recommendations to avoid negative impacts for clients.
  • Create performance report templates and monitor results. Translate SEO insights into data-led optimizations.
  • Provide Local SEO recommendations for clients’ social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn, Yelp, etc.)
  • Field all general Local SEO questions/tasks for all clients (analysis/insights, reviews, GBP, citations, rankings, photos, etc.) and delegate to Local SEO team members where appropriate.
  • Develop and execute SEO experimentation roadmaps like A/B tests
  • Serve as the SME for SEO, communicating performance status to leadership and stakeholders
  • Discover, define, and resolve outstanding SEO errors or issues in collaboration with the department and cross-functional team members
  • Identify new innovative ways to drive organic traffic and search visibility
  • Provide Review and Reputation Management recommendations to clients
  • Join client meetings and provide an overview of strategy, goals, and progress
  • Present and pitch concepts and campaigns to clients, accounts, and others
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Brainstorm and develop local SEO campaigns while working with clients on numerous projects at once
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, consistently add value, and deliver on time and within budget.
  • Quality check geo-specific SEO content strategies before sending to development/strategist/client 
  • Find local link building and GMB-specific link building to help improve overall domain authority and rankings.
  • Completing new acquisition and competitor audits and reporting on SEO techniques/optimizations used by competitors

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum four years of experience doing Local SEO
  • Strong knowledge of onsite SEO best practices (as it pertains to small businesses)
  • Strong understanding of and experience managing Google Business Profiles
  • Experience using LocalFalcon, Yext, Whitespark, or BrightLocal
  • Experience in creating Local SEO strategies
  • Thorough knowledge of Local SEO best practices, ranking factors, and industry trends
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively escalate issues as needed while understanding the impact on the overall business
  • Being able to provide a case study is a big plus
  • Experience crafting enterprise local solutions at the client and platform level is a plus
  • Solid understanding of positioning Local SEO to clients, explaining complex SEO concepts, and excellent customer-facing communication abilities
  • Ability to articulate Local SEO concepts internally (product team, account managers, etc.) and externally (clients, data partners, etc.)
  • Strategic problem-solving skills and the capacity to distill complex information into meaningful concepts or ideas
  • Healthcare marketing experience is nice to have but not required
  • Highly comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
  • People first -- Team/people management and leadership skills, working independently and collaboratively with the broader team and teams across the organization.
  • Organized self-starter and independent worker with the ability to organize and deliver projects on time with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
  • Willingness for occasional light travel for client or agency strategy sessions in person
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
