Job description

Luminary Group is partnered with a global leader in the biotechnology industry, is seeking a skilled and ambitious Sales Manager to expand our business in France. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities in the biotechnology sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Luminary Group in France.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the biotechnology sector in France.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the industry.
  • Manage and nurture existing customer accounts to maximize sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to customize solutions for clients and address their specific needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing Luminary Group's products and services.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the customer.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and other relevant events to network with potential clients and promote Luminary Group's offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and post-sales support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the biotechnology industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the biotechnology sector in France.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Ability to understand and present complex scientific and technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel within France as required.
