Network Guardian: Duty Roster
  • Deploy and inspect IT operational network requirements under Change Management Process.
  • Monitor the performance and capacity of network devices.
  • Monitor the overall status and performance of WAN and LAN infrastructure connectivity.
  • Serve as liaison between IT, clients, and network vendors.
  • Respond to network incidents and network-related service requests in accordance with SLA.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network-related errors.
  • Track and document network issues and provide periodic reports.
  • Manage system backups and ensure their up-to-date status.
  • Handle projects that contribute to the continuous improvement of IT network infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

Credential Compass: Your Path to Stardom

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (2-4 years) as an NOC engineer.
  • Experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures.
  • Preferred IT and Network certifications.
  • Experience managing cross-platform technologies (Cisco, Juniper, MK, Aruba, Fortigate).
  • Extensive experience in managing network monitoring and fault detection tools.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the OSI layer.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network switching (STP) and routing (OSPF, BGP) fundamentals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient project management capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks according to SLA.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
