Your missions

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Music Coordinator to assist with the management of our world-class roster of composers and music. Reporting directly to our Catalogue Manager, the successful candidate will work across multiple technical and administrative areas with an experienced team of music and media industry professionals.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Meticulously maintain our catalogue and databases, keep all information up - to - date.
  • Careful file management from composer submissions through to final acquisition and publishing.
  • Carry out administrative tasks such as filename checks, uploads and metadata tagging.
  • Perform quality checks of final audio files. Ensure all audio files meet our administrative and technical guidelines.
  • Liaise with composers from onboarding to quality control, troubleshooting and general guidance.
  • Liaise with third party distributors and sub-licensors, preparing music and metadata for delivery, making regular deliveries and keeping up-to-date records.
  • Registers and updates with rights management societies, maintain up-to-date records.
  • Basic audio edit of teasers for social media platforms (creating “best of” 15 and 30 edits for social posts).
  • Attend team meetings and critical listening sessions as required.
  • Provide insights, discussing challenges and ideas, regularly updating the A&R team.
  • Assist the Licensing and Account Management teams with music curation and support, creating playlists and music suggestions for clients.
  • Meet agreed KPIs whilst always maintaining our high standards.
  • Provide Logistical and administrative support.

Core Competencies & Skills

  • Advance musical and technical listening skills.
  • A broad knowledge of musical genres and the ability to discuss music using specialist language.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic audio engineering skills: Mid-level Pro Tools experience is required. Izotope RX is a bonus.
  • Administrative tools: G Suite, Microsoft Office, Asana and Slack.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder with great written skills.
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, innovative, resourceful and fun.
  • Past experience in music / label administration is a big plus.
