The Role
We are looking for a UK-based VP of Finance (remote) to upgrade our financial and accounting processes, strengthen investor relations, and foster a financial planning culture across our group of companies operating in 30+ countries. Overseeing Accounting & Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax & Treasury teams, and closely collaborating with the IT, Business Process Automation, and ERP Engineering teams, you will report directly to the CEO and be part of the Executive Leadership Team.

What You Will DoDrive optimization of finance, accounting, and neighboring processesOwn ERP and financial data systems, while leading automation and robotization of routine business processesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with investors, auditors, banks, and key vendors, assist the CEO in fundraising activitiesEnhance a planning culture through forecasting, budgeting, and extending the role of Finance & Accounting as a strategic business partner for other departments Plan corporate structure changes, implement a cost-efficient approach to resource use and liquidity/treasury managementLead finance and accounting teams, planning resources for business scalingEvolve the team structure by assessing processes and areas of responsibility, and designing a system for team motivation and development Act as an executive representative of the team in developing strategic goals, and ensure finance and accounting teams' involvement in key business processesContinuously assess financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies What We Look For10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including 4+ years in a managerial role within international business environmentsAudit skills, including overseeing audits for a group of companies, negotiating in controversial situations, and applying practical knowledge of IFRS principlesProficiency in budgeting, long-term planning, and financial modelingExpertise in international taxation, covering transfer pricing and strategies, tax planning, M&A tax planning, tax controversy resolution, and tax compliance automationDemonstrated success in process optimization, automation, and ERP implementationStrong motivation to build highly efficient and scalable operationsStrategic thinking, strong decision-making, and effective interpersonal and influencing skillsProficiency in English (C1+)Nice To HaveBackground in the technology or SaaS industry Familiarity with local tax laws and Local GAAP in key jurisdictions (UK, US, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Poland, Brazil, China, Australia)Business acumen for efficient gathering and understanding of business requirementsWhat We Offer
