About the US-GOV Cloud Operations Team:
 
***This is a U.S. based role with U.S. citizenship requirement. Applicant must reside in and work from the U.S. and be able to pass a FedRAMP background check***
 Location: US- Remote, Eastern or Central time zone preferred.

Cloud Operations (CloudOps) at Icertis is responsible for Availability, Resiliency, Performance, Monitoring, Emergency Response, and Capacity Planning of the Icertis SaaS application & related services. CloudOps also executes Identity & Access Management, Role-Based Provisioning, Upgrades, Deployments, and Change, Incident, and Problem management to drive faster time to market. This department plays a critical role in building & executing the cloud strategy as part of overall service delivery for the company.

What you will do:
  • ·We are looking for a proactive, highly motivated, detailed oriented, and passionate Senior Cloud Operations professional to join our rapidly growing US GOV Cloud Operations team.  This individual will be a passionate Cloud Operations professional who is committed to secure SaaS service delivery and the success of our Azure Government customers.
  •  
  • ·You will be working to support and scale environments in the Azure Government Cloud and will take part in deployments, upgrades, incident, problem & capacity management functions.
  • ·You will work on production & non-production environments to ensure all services are running reliably & securely.
  • ·You will use automation within Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD pipelines and custom tooling.
  • ·Interact with customer support and professional services to troubleshoot issues and provide workarounds by leveraging your troubleshooting skills.
  • ·Create and manage processes for the secure operation of customer cloud environments.
  • ·Systems used are (Windows, Linux, and Azure SQL Server and Databases) and Network administration.
  • ·Use your knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) to make changes and find root cause for incidents and problems.
  • ·Identify, escalate, and communicate incidents and problems in a timely manner.
  • ·Contribute to and maintain a knowledge base centered on known incidents/defects, Frequently Asked Questions, resolved incidents and problems, applying lessons learned to prevent future occurrences.
  • ·Collaborate with customer services, professional services, project/program/product managers, and engineers to ensure that critical and time-sensitive projects run smoothly to achieve business outcomes.
  • ·On-call responsibilities to respond to emergency situations and scheduled maintenance.

  • What you will bring:
  • ·Minimum 7+ years of working with mission critical, distributed, multi-tier, 24x7 Cloud Operations/SRE teams (preferrable Microsoft Azure Government Cloud) to execute upgrades, deployments, user & infra provisioning, incident & change management.
  • ·Minimum 4+ years configuring/supporting/troubleshooting Windows Server.
  • ·Minimum 4+ years configuring/supporting/troubleshooting IIS and .Net platforms.
  • ·Minimum 4+ years configuring/supporting/troubleshooting Azure Kubernetes and containers.
  • ·Understand and ability to admin Unix/Linux systems.
  • ·Strong understanding of cloud concepts, applications, storage, compute, and networking components.
  • ·Troubleshoot and debug C#/ASP.NET applications and/or PaaS service failures.
  • ·Readiness to work in 24x7 rotational shift model.
  • ·Hands on script creation in PowerShell, Linux shell, Python or C# start/stop/restart services.
  • ·Experience using and configuring full spectrum Monitoring, Logging and event tool like Splunk, Sumo Logic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, Elastic Search (Kibana), App Insights.
  • ·Knowledge and experience with load balancing systems F5s, App Gateways, Azure Front Door.
  • ·Proactive and self-motivated, committed to achieving deadlines, meeting SLAs/SLOs, and producing results.
  • ·Excellent customer service, people skills and relationship building skills.
  • ·Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • ·Ability to be a good listener and to understand customer issues.
  • ·Ability to provide innovative workarounds or design a solution to fix a customer’s problem.
  • ·Ability to work in a fast changing, agile environment where change is constant.

  • Additional Qualifications
  • ·Azure Certifications:
  • AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Azure Portal/Azure DevOps/Visual Studio/Azure Active Directory.
  • ·Experience and working knowledge with a range of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • ·Experience of configuring/supporting Kubernetes (AKS Preferred), Redis Cache.
  • ·Comfortable using TFS (Team Foundation Server) and Azure DevOps (ADO) workflows.
  • ·Comfortable with Visual Studio and SQL Server Data Tools.
  • ·Comfortable with basic DevOps concepts like CI/CD and Infra-automation.
  • ·Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform.
  • ·Knowledge and experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and procedure.

  • Preferred familiarity (2+ years) with some or all the following Azure PaaS security resources:
  • Threat protection
  • WAF (Web Application Firewall)
  • Tenable Nessus
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Static code scanning tools:  Veracode
  • Open-Source scanning tools: Blackduck
  • SIEM (Sentinel), and Cloud Security Analytics
  • Security Operation Center
