About the role:

We've got an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join us on a Fixed Term Contract, reporting into the Financial Controller within the Tempcover Finance team. Covering maternity leave, will be responsible for the management accounts for our Temporary Insurance vertical.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Timely ledger posting and reviewing of month end journals
• Completing and/or reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Ownership of intercompany process 
• Ownership of AP process
• Assist with the preparation for the annual external audit
• Support with tax requests received from our group tax department
• Support the FC to improve/implement controls processes
• Support internal teams/projects with technical accounting areas

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essentials

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Able to work autonomously in a fast environment
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts
• Strong Excel skills
• Comfortable working closely with multiple stakeholders
• Strong attention to details with good analytical skills
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
