We are looking for a forward-thinking Account Executive who will directly influence our growth and help us to sign deals with the world’s largest freight forwarders and partners. From compelling pitch to negotiation you will forge strong relationships with the forwarder’s senior and middle management. Your goal is to champion change, to design solutions where necessary, to form consensus and to drive your targets to successful closing.

🌍 You can work from (almost) anywhere in North America. We are a remote company, but regularly meet in person, too.

🎬 A snapshot of what you will be doing here:

  • You will be responsible for driving enterprise relationships in North America from the exploration phase through consulting on change, to solution design to negotiation and successful closing.

  • You will continuously develop our value proposition through effective exploration and understanding of customer’s business needs and our competitive landscape.

  • You will proactively drive account planning, hand in hand with marketing, pre-sales and lead generation, and work with your team to prioritise present and future targets.

  • You will be developing compelling sales pitches and materials, using your strong presentation skills to manage relationships at various stages of the sales cycle.

  • You will be building sustainable and successful stakeholders relationships by using a proactive and consultative approach.

  • You will represent cargo.one at industry and customer events, trade shows and conferences.

  • You will be managing and keeping our CRM and related sales documentation up to date at all times.

 

🕵 We are looking for individuals with:

  • Experience working as an Account Executive or as Consultant in a fast growth venture backed or IPO’d B2B technology company.

  • A proven track record of building trust and strong working relationships with senior (C- and VP-level) stakeholders from ground zero.

  • An intuitive technological understanding and drive to comprehensively
    understanding our product and customers needs.

  • Willingness to embrace uncertainty and display a high level of adaptability.

  • Ability to learn and be open to accepting feedback, generously giving their own in return.

  • Great presentation and communication skills.

  • Exposure to enterprise sales processes.

  • Fluency in English (C2).
