Communications Writer & Project Manager – Remote 8-5 PST

12-18 month contract

Would you like to:

Deliver content and editorial services for the M365 Community team.

Job Responsibilities:

Product blogging, community event amplification.
Write articles, newsletters, communication materials, and other materials for social media channels.
Develop community-specific communications including posts, blogs, carousel, and other program materials.
Post/launch content to various engines.
Manage communications across the span of topics related to the community including launches, new programs, and super user.
Support the development and management of editorial calendars for community content.
Manage monthly newsletter for Microsoft Global Community Initiative.

Qualifications:

Write copy quickly - short form and long form copy.
2+ years of experience in social media; familiarity with social media platforms.
Excellent verbal & written communication.
Knowledge of/familiarity with AKA.ms links.
Adobe Photoshop experience preferred.
Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and able to work under pressure to meet very tight deadlines.
Can demonstrate understanding of brands and branding, brand strategy and target audience knowledge/insights. Uses this understanding to inform daily work.
Confidence to take a risk; bias for action; Shared ownership mindset.
Proven experience establishing strong collaborative relationships across a varied set of stakeholders and partners across various internal teams and external communities.
Analytics and reporting: Prepare regular reports providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Compensation Range: $45 - $50/hour

This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
