Student Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator

Role Mission: The Student Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator contributes to the annual student enrollment cycle that starts with recruitment and ends with 100% enrollment on the first day of school.  This position reports directly to the Manager of Student Recruitment & Enrollment and will work closely with the Director of Operations.

S/he will be in charge of acquiring, nurturing, and converting prospective applicants into enrolled students.  S/he will also lead the execution of recruitment tactics, establish and maintain new school partnerships, and ensure all new student onboarding is done effectively. S/he will work in conjunction with the Operations and Instructional team to meet enrollment targets and to cascade relevant information from our department.   

What You’ll Do – Accountabilities:

ACHIEVE 100% ENROLLMENT BY FDOS (10-DAY WINDOW)  

  • Use enrollment data to identify and drive results to action to close enrollment gaps through accountability check-ins, text messages, emails, etc.  
  • Execute recruitment tactics and strategies and track their data, strategize on how they will make progress toward their goals, and share best practices they’ve deployed to yield results. 
  • Develop and execute student recruitment efforts and plans to target families with school-aged children within the 1 to 3-mile radius immediately surrounding each school 
  • Research recruitment events and locations around the St Louis area for larger recruitment events.  

ACHIEVE 80% NEW FAMILY PERSISTENCE AT EACH SCHOOL

  • Collaborate with campuses on high-quality recruiting events to greet new families.   
  • Collaborate with campuses to host high-quality Info Sessions and Open Houses to onboard new families  
  • Monitor parent participation throughout the recruiting year by measuring attendance at events, engagement with communications, and response time  
  • Ensure execution of family onboarding plan, including online and in-person interactions, in order to ensure all new families are effectively on-boarded, beginning with Lottery and Orientation, through the 1st year of school.

100% OF ENROLLMENT MILESTONES: RE-ENROLLMENT, WTK IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE, 100% NEW FAMILY REGISTRATION 

  • Serve as administrator for appropriate enrollment systems   
  • Coordinate with internal business partners to collect appropriate information and prepare the enrollment system for launch ahead of each milestone  
  • Collaborate with the enrollment team to develop and deliver event guides and training materials for each milestone   
  • Schedule and deliver training to appropriate internal business partners prior to each milestone  
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on daily progress toward goals  
  • Deploy accountability and intervention strategies as needed 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual strategies alongside the COO to ensure Kairos Academies hits enrollment milestones.
  • Analyze historical enrollment and recruitment data to determine trends and next-step strategies.
  • Coordinate new families' onboarding experience providing feedback to campus leadership and pushing for new families’ persistence year over year. 
  • Collaborate with Campus Operations team on ensuring family onboarding is done efficiently and effectively

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of related experience

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

The Student Recruitment and Enrollment Coordinator will need to work flexible hours according to identified needs for the recruitment. 

(Possible example: 8-5pm Tuesday-Thursday & Friday 10am-7pm & Saturday 8am-5pm) 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, students, and parents.  Preferred fluent in Spanish

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Ability and competence in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use a variety of computer applications and platforms. Ability to use basic office equipment. Also knowledge and experience in using a computer-based student Information Management system.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Satisfactory criminal records check, pre-hire and annually thereafter, if applicable. Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide work authorization.

  • Monday through Friday 7:30am- 4:00pm 
    • Some weekends and evenings will be required

  • Saint Louis, MO 63118: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required). Please note, this is not a remote position. All Kairos teachers are required to deliver in-person instruction onsite, in our school in St. Louis.
