Senior Software Engineer (Multiple Positions)

Summary of Duties:

• Be at the forefront of the customer’s car buying process, setting the vision for digital product development, and taking a holistic view of software quality and architecture.
• Bring together business and technical experts to create better experiences for our customers.
• Combine hands-on development with monitoring and mentoring your team to ensure they work at their peak.
• Have a direct impact on improving the performance of our business, and ensure customers can buy the vehicles they want in a way that is right for them.
• Provide enhancements and additional capabilities involved with document generations, including form data capture, form rendering, signature capture, document imaging/conversion, and watermarking.
• Provide enhancements and additional capabilities involved with document consumption, including workflow, rights management and distribution analytics.
• Provide enhancements and additional capabilities involved with document management, including storage and retrieval, version management, document indexing, document search, document capture, access control, and records management.
• Be part of the development process from end to end: consulting users, carrying out experiments, tackling complex business problems and implementing new products.
• Able to balance customer needs with business goals, deliver technical solutions that enhance business value.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, Biotechnology, or a related field of study, AND Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, Biotechnology, or a related field of study, and Five (5) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, Biotechnology, or a related field of study, AND Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience with the following: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; Responsive design; W3C Standards; Data Storage Solutions; Reusable Code and Libraries; Server-Side Logic; Database Schemas; Authentication/Authorization; Security Compliance; Unit Testing; Relational databases (MS and SQL server); and API design and integration.
