Software Engineer

Our client is a fintech startup providing cutting-edge software-as-a-service solutions to institutional investors. Their current offering includes advanced financial analysis, trade flow, and portfolio management solutions.

As they continue to grow, they are looking for exceptional Software Engineers to join their team and help accelerate their business and their technology.

A successful candidate will help the company continue to grow, exercising an eye for detail across all aspects of the development lifecycle while maintaining organization and good code hygiene. This engineer should be able to effectively communicate both with the company's internal teams and with their clients.

Required skills and experience

• Experience in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core);

• Experience in Angular;

• Expertise in SOLID principles and commonly used design patterns;

• Working knowledge of relational databases;

• Attention to good UI/UX design;

• Good communication skills;

• Ability to work in agile-based project management structure;

• Familiarity with Git.

Preferred skills and experience

• Experience with Python;

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure;

• Familiarity with debugging front-end rendering & performance issues using browser development tools;

• Understanding of how to optimize a component’s UI/UX performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain components and frameworks that add to the company's toolset;

• Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their application development needs;

• Research new technologies and use cases. Seek out inefficiencies and match relevant technology solutions to resolve them;

• Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback to the team.
