Job Overview**
Davies US is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer to be the lead engineer on technical projects which will cover a diverse IT infrastructure of hardware, software, & network systems spanning traditional on-premises as well as cloud solutions and are managed centrally through the Group Business Transformation Team. While developing robust solutions in line with IT strategy and client requirements, you will work within the Group IT Projects Team to deliver a variety of technical projects including IT Integrations of new businesses, strategic IT projects, and various other requests from across the Group. As part of the team, you will work with colleagues globally as well as with various suppliers and outsourcers to achieve and fulfill objectives. You will actively participate in a technology aligned community, focused on continuous service improvement along with improving the knowledge and skills of the community. Engineers and team leaders will rotate between these communities to improve learning, knowledge, and experience of Davies IT systems and processes.

Responsibilities & Duties**
- Provide research and support the development and use of new technologies
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset across the team
- Design and provision IT solutions to support Group strategy including the technical aspects of full lifecycle mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects
- Evaluate changes and provide solutions for Stakeholder review
- Adhere to and ensure the enforcement of all business policies
- Create and maintain documentation, including systems configuration, processes, knowledge articles, test, and project plans
- Escalate issues to the Technical Team Lead/Project Manager
- Work with the wider IT Teams to drive integration from an application perspective
- Collaborate with colleagues globally as well as with various supplies and outsourcers to achieve and meet objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another IT related field OR have equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Certifications – MSCE, MCITP
- Possess Networking skills (e.g., switching, routing, VLANs, PoE, WLAN, MPLS)
- Understand or worked with cloud technologies including Azure, AWS with VMware VMC, an advantage
- Familiar with NAS/SAN storage infrastructures
- Knowledge of Mobile Device Management and Telephony systems
Experience
- Proven experience and understanding of all Window Operating Systems and Active Directory management (including Group Policy, login scripts, and roles)
- Experience with Automated Monitoring and Alerting
- Solid working knowledge of core networking services - e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RDP, SNMP, LDAP, Kerberos
- Experience with installation, migration, and supporting of Microsoft Exchange and O365
- Previous experience with VMWare, including maintenance and provisioning
- Experience within regulated markets, desired, but not required
- Prior experience working with Agile Project Teams, advantageous

- Strong analytical and problem solving ability in complex technical landscapes
- Proven ability to produce high quality deliverables in terms of content and presentation
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, both written and verbal, with diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational skills

- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize a complex workload
- Superb attention to detail and ability to be flexible
- Exhibit a comfort level working with key people at all levels within an organization across the globe in varying international time zones and local cultures
