Everbridge: a fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, is actively seeking a Principal End User Technologist to join our Corporate IT team to be based in Hungary. This is a remote / home-based position to be based anywhere in Hungary.
 
This vital role is at the forefront of providing top-notch technical support to our global colleagues, including C-Level Executives, VPs, and Engineers. Your mission will be to ensure seamless, efficient support across all levels of technical proficiency, leveraging your expertise to enhance our IT support operations. Our Corporate IT team is a vibrant, globally dispersed group committed to collaboration, excellence in service delivery, and fostering an inclusive work environment.

What you'll do:
  • Deliver expert-level support for end-user hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Lead in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, offering support through in-person, remote, and phone interactions.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, enhancing their skills in technical issue resolution and customer service excellence.
  • Contribute significantly to key projects and company initiatives, such as security enhancements, office relocations, and mobile device management (MDM) deployments.
  • Create and maintain detailed IT documentation, aligning with industry best practices and facilitating efficient problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies, aiming to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services.
  • Serve as an escalation point for challenging technical issues, ensuring quick resolution and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction and system reliability.

  • What you'll bring:
  • Experience managing Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Knowledge of remote imaging and patching techniques for both Windows and Mac platforms.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • A deep familiarity with Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Active Directory, Office365, and the Office suite. (advantageous to have)
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, Zoom, and various MDM solutions. (advantageous to have)
  • Certification in ITIL or a similar framework, highlighting a structured approach to IT service management. (advantageous to have)
