Role Overview:

At Socure, we're on a mission to revolutionize identity verification and fraud prevention with cutting-edge technology. We're seeking an VP, Head of Fraud Products, a role critical to steering our product strategy, enhancing our market-leading suite of solutions, and propelling our growth. Reporting to the Chief Product and Analytics Officer, you will lead the Fraud Product Line, managing flagship products such as Sigma Identity Fraud Detection, Sigma Synthetic, RiskScores, and Sigma First Party Fraud. This position is not just about managing products; it's about leading the market and shaping the future of fraud prevention.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Employ a market-driven approach to product management. Regularly conduct market research and engage with customers, prospects, and partners to deeply understand and anticipate market needs and trends. Leverage these insights to inform product strategy and development.

  • In collaboration with Product leadership, craft and execute a visionary product strategy that aligns with Socure’s overarching goals. Lead our efforts to define the future of fraud prevention, ensuring Socure remains at the industry's forefront.

  • Collaborate with the Product leadership to formulate and manage the budget for Fraud products, directing resources to areas of highest impact and ensuring the product line’s profitability. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize growth and market penetration.

  • Develop and implement robust go-to-market strategies, clearly defining the value proposition and competitive advantages of Socure’s DocV solutions. Serve as a thought leader and advocate for document verification technologies, engaging with customers, partners, and industry forums to promote Socure’s leadership.

  • Leverage deep market insights and constant customer feedback to guide the strategic evolution of Socure’s connections across products. Prioritize customer-centric product development, ensuring Socure’s offerings not only meet but exceed market expectations for fraud detection and identity verification solutions.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their needs and challenges to ensure Fraud solutions meet and exceed their expectations.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute seamless go-to-market strategies. Work closely with marketing and sales to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and growth..

  • Adopt a continuous feedback loop to iterate on product features and positioning. Implement metrics to measure product performance, user engagement, and satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to refine and evolve product strategies.

  • Lead and expand a multidisciplinary team comprising product management, engineering, data science, and compliance professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity, ensuring the team is aligned with Socure’s goals and operates at peak performance.

  • Act as a chief evangelist for Socure’s fraud prevention products. Participate in industry events, forums, and customer meetings, discussions, positioning Socure as a thought leader in fraud prevention.

  • Constantly display an intellectual curiosity and desire for optimization

Required Qualifications 
  • 12+ years of relevant Product Management experience or experience in fraud analytics as well as product owner experience. 12+ years management experience leading successful product lines.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively, hire and mentor product managers, and drive exceptional results.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging effectively with C-level executives, customers, and external audiences.

  • Ability to grasp deep technical concepts, including predictive analytics and statistical models. 

  • Penchant for clear, concise, and impactful communication to either technical or business audiences

  • Demonstrated record of individual achievements and collaborative team successes

  • Conceptually sound visionary, omni-directional influencer, and storyteller who stays connected to the details

  • Multi-directional application of data to both test hypotheses and disconfirm beliefs

  • Use of first principles engineering to push the status-quo

  • Transformative domain experience in Agile environments

  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, partnership management, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proactive learner following global product, data and technology trends

  • Active participation and demonstration of critical thinking on product and data strategy

  • Ability to responsibly scale a product organization and spread product knowledge across the organization

  • Ability to travel ~15-20%

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or similar advanced degrees. 

  • Experience with R, Python, Bash, or another scripting language

  • SQL and RDBMS familiarity

  • BI tools: Tableau, Looker, or other related tools

  • Experience working with large data sets and graph databases

Salary Disclosure:
Base Salary range: $250,000 - $310,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity,  comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
