PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $134,200-$164,000 annually. The full Pay Range is $104,200-$194,000 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITS

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE
As a Senior Database Engineer (DBE), you will have the exciting opportunity to help in leading a diverse team in maintaining and enhancing the database infrastructure that supports BECU staff and member-facing applications. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the security, availability, and optimal performance of our database software.
You will have the autonomy to implement automation solutions, making a tangible impact on the efficiency and reliability of our systems. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you tackle complex challenges, ensuring application uptime and recommending innovative solutions to address business needs.
In this role, you will foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, working closely with other Database Engineers to share knowledge and provide mentoring opportunities. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to a dedicated team dynamic, driving success and growth within our organization.
