Jr. Scrum Master, Remote

• 3 Month Contract  (May-August)
• 100% Remote

• Target Rate:  $36/hr W2, no benefits or $40/hr C2C (Must have own company.  We DO NOT work with 3rd party recruiters).

Description

Our client is seeking a Scrum Master for a 3 month contract to support a contract with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Responsibilities

• Support a scrum team of about 10-12 people involved in a cloud operations and maintenance project supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
• Following the SAFe agile methodology, guide and coach scrum team on how to use agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to CMS.
• Help the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done.
• Remove impediments to the Scrum Teams progress.
• Help the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
• Help scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Scrum Master certification a plus
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction

Desired

• Previous experience supporting Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in a SAFe agile environment.
