We’re looking for a PLM Configuration Manager to implement best in class product lifecycle management practices, tools, and analytics. If you'd like to build the world's best deep learning cloud, join us. 

*Note: This position requires presence in our San Jose Headquarters 4 days per week; Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain configuration management processes, procedures, and approval workflows to ensure consistency and accuracy in product configurations
  • Develop and implement a Bill of Materials (BOM) and Part Numbering system which will become a single source of truth of data for sales, engineering, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and data center teams
  • Establish and enforce configuration control procedures to manage changes to BOMs and product configurations effectively. Ensure that changes are properly assessed for their impact on product configurations, quality, and compliance
  • Implement best practices for version control, change management, and release management within the PLM system
  • Implement and serve as the primary administrator for the PLM system, including user management, data maintenance, and system configuration
  • Customize the PLM system to align with the organization's configuration management requirements and business processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, design changes, and manufacturing processes
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on configuration management activities, changes, and issues
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in configuration management practices

You

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Have 7+ years experience in configuration management, preferably in a manufacturing and engineering environment. Experience working with commodity suppliers and ODM/CM partners 
  • Are proficient in PLM systems such as Agile, Teamcenter, and/or Windchill
  • Possess a strong understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and best practices
  • Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Are able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

Nice to Have

  • Certification in configuration management (e.g., CMII certification).
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to product configuration management (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $120,000-$180,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
