Job description

Overview:

The BOPF Consultant plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) within the SAP environment. They are responsible for understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and customize BOPF-based solutions for various business processes within SAP.
Worked on ABAP.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for BOPF-based applications.
Implement BOPF-based data models and business object definitions.
Integrate BOPF with other SAP modules and external systems.
Perform unit testing and support system integration testing for BOPF solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation for BOPF-based solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to the development team on BOPF best practices.
Identify and troubleshoot BOPF-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
Stay updated with the latest SAP BOPF features and functionalities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of BOPF solutions with business goals.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in SAP BOPF development and customization.
Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and object-oriented programming concepts.
Experience in designing and implementing SAP business object data models.
Proficiency in integrating BOPF with other SAP modules such as SAP ECC, SAP CRM, or SAP S/4HANA.
Ability to design and develop complex BOPF-based workflows and rule sets.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of BOPF solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Relevant SAP certifications would be a plus.
