Job Title Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced security engineer to join our cloud operations team. This is a dynamic position where no two days are alike; the successful candidate for this position will work be responsible for managing vulnerabilities, responding to customers' security inquiries, and contributing to the engineering and operations teams in keeping the environment and applications secure. Working at Delinea means being a part of a highly capable, collaborative, and agile security team. This is a remote position based out of your home office and reports to the Cloud Operations Director of Security.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate cross functionally between infosec, engineering and cloud operations teams to develop and implement a security engineering program
- Understand and address information security threats
- Respond to security incidents and help establish timelines, root cause analysis and mitigations
- Perform and oversee application security vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and provide remediation guidance
- Participate in audit, governance, risk, compliance and certifications for the application portfolio and cloud platform
What You’ll Need:
- 6+ years of experience Cloud Security roles
- Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, SCA, SAST, & DAST
- Experience with the top Cloud Service Providers such as Azure and AWS
- Experience with various alerting, logging, and application performance monitoring systems
- Experience with container-based technologies
- Experience with building security into continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines; development background a plus
- Experience operating with industry security practices, standards, and regulations such as: SOC2, ISO27001, NIST, FedRAMP, OWASP, GDPR, etc.
We’d Love to See:
- Adept at translating technology topics to audiences across the business
- Relevant industry certifications such as: OSCP, GXPN, GPEN, CISSP, AWS Professional/Specialty level, Azure Expert/Specialty level
- Experience collaborating with corporate legal teams and reviewing agreements for security-related clauses
- Experience thinking like and delighting customers so Delinea can assist them as they navigate challenging security and compliance-related challenges to their business
