LPL’s Paraplanning Solutions team is seeking candidates passionate about this space who are also interested in the idea of launching a new product.

This individual will be part of a growing team within the LPL Business Solutions organization responsible for supporting Financial Advisors and Planners with back-office financial planning support so that they can continue to provide superior personal financial advice to their clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about financial planning and eager to advance their planning knowledge. This is a 100% remote role and you can be located anywhere in the United States.

Job Overview:

LPL’s Financial Planning Services team is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Plan Manager to support advisors in all aspects of financial plan design and analysis. This individual will serve as a paraplanner supporting a number of LPL advisors and their end clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with advisors ensuring client satisfaction to drive continued utilization and retention of planning services.

  • Understand and follow Paraplanning team standards.  

    Communicate and align on expectations with advisors understanding their preferences and needs to effectively work within Paraplanning Services. 

  • Collaborate with teammates during the plan development process.

  • Professionally present completed financial plans.  

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of personal financial planning concepts and stay informed of current financial planning developments and industry trends. 

  • Identify advisor needs and additional opportunities to refer to business partners including, but not limited to Client Success, High Net Worth Services, and Tax Planning.  

  • Maintain knowledge of all Comprehensive Advice offerings.  

    Engage with the advisor through onboarding, integration, and throughout the advisor relationship with Paraplanning Services.  

  • Cultivate positive working relationships within the team and all business units across Comprehensive Advice.  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent experience 

  • Must have CFP® or equivalent experience 

  • 5+ years of financial services experience with 3+ years of experience in the development and presentation of comprehensive financial plans 

  • Strong understanding of personal financial planning including, but not limited to retirement, personal wealth management, risk management, and education planning  

  • Software/Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite  

  • Demonstrate expertise with eMoney, MoneyGuide or RightCapital  

  • Ability to effectively communicate, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail is a must 

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once  

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills 

Preferences:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Understanding of insurance and annuity products

  • Broad exposure to financial planning

  • Ability to effectively communicate, excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail is a must.

Pay Range:

$65,360-$98,040/year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
