Job description

Staff4Me is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader/Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As the Team Leader/Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting team, managing financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This is a leadership role that offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Team development and training, taking on challenges and seeking permanent improvement. Accountability for personal actions. Leading by example, guiding the team to win/win solutions.
  • Monitoring and maintaining integrity of the GL accounting system and all the other applications.
  • Assisting in managing the financial staff results through coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and performance assessment.
  • Responsible for creating and updating SOPs.
  • Participating in personnel selection processes.
  • Responsible for One-on-One and KPIs reporting and assisting supervisors in submitting metrics.
  • Team player. Develops relationships with other teams and departments in a professional and friendly manner to accomplish mutual goals and the presentation of assignments on time.
  • Logic driven – if something does not make sense, not afraid to ask questions and determine if there is a smarter way to approach a situation.
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills.
  • Working efficiently under pressure -complex scenarios and unexpected situations-.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • CPA certification is a plus
