The Role
The Category Management team consists of category managers and helps our customers and partners achieve business goals by leveraging the Printify platform. We're experts in technology and print-on-demand best practices. As a part of this team, your primary duty is to build and realize assortment short and long-term development and growth strategy, to ensure assortment competitiveness and selection depth to satisfy all our target customer needs, to coordinate products sourcing and launch activities, to support Marketing, Success and Acquisition teams activities with products success stories, to follow industry and customer demand trends in terms of products.
Your Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans for specific product categories , considering market trends, customer needs, and business goals, conduct category reviews to identify opportunities for growth and optimizationDetermine the range of products to be offered within assigned categories, based on customer demand, competitive analysis, and profitabilityMonitor and optimize assortment proposal in our catalog to maximize sales while minimizing other teams involvements into catalog support Set pricing strategies for negotiations with Partners and monitor competitive pricing to drive sales and profitability. Run monthly price comparisons for TOP10 products on our main markets (US, UK, CA, AU, EU)Plan and execute in cooperation with Product Marketing team promotional activities to increase category performanceWork with the Success & Acquisition team to ensure seamless execution of category strategies and initiatives, as well as products positioning and promotions to maximize sales and profitabilityAnalyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities, evaluate category performance, and recommend strategies for improvementCollaborate with the Catalog, Creation Experience, Sales Experience and other teams to enhance the product category pages, search functionality, and overall customer experience.Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging market opportunities to make informed decisions and drive innovation within the category to deliver results in line with company OKR for specific categoriesParticipate in in setting a strategic vision for Printify Selection futureCollaborate with Article Onboarding team regarding selected product launch and priorities Collaborate with Partnership teams regarding product sourcing to maintain Category tree - weekly update with new products and product related informationSupport Company newsletter and monthly New products review Collect and review Merchant requests from multiple sources Perform other duties upon the instructions of the direct managerWhat you needProject management skills3 year experience in procurement, assortment or brand managementCustomer focus to maximize business results, capability to develop and influence strategy at senior levels both for customers and manufacturesExcellent quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills Good Excel skillsBeing accurate to details An independent sense of self-motivationAbility to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic start-up environmentAttention to detail, a willingness to learn and a motivation for successExcellent command of EnglishWhat we offerBeing part of a friendly, inclusive, and global teamCareer development opportunities and access to mentorship, internal meetups, and hackathons both on-site and onlineA personalized learning budget for professional development and unlimited access to our book libraryStart your workday anywhere between 7AM and 11AM.
