We are a well-established tutoring center serving the Katy/Houston, TX area, as well as offering remote tutoring opportunities. At our center, we are dedicated to providing top-notch educational support to students of all grades and subjects. **
Available Positions**
We are currently seeking passionate and certified tutors to join our team. Positions are available for elementary, middle, and high school levels, encompassing a wide range of subjects. **
Job Description**
As a certified tutor with us, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly, either in-person at our tutoring centers or remotely. Our ideal candidate is a certified teacher with classroom experience, although we welcome all certified individuals who are enthusiastic about education. Key responsibilities include establishing rapport with students, effectively communicating progress to parents, and delivering engaging tutoring sessions tailored to each student's needs. **
Qualifications**
Must be authorized to work in the United States **
Certified Teachers Preferred, With Classroom Experience Highly Valued**
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and communicate effectively with parents
Passion for working with children and helping them achieve their academic goals
Dependable, flexible, and organized, with the ability to commit to a minimum of a few hours per week
Availability to work weekends, if needed **
Duration And Compensation**
Tutoring sessions typically run for 1-2 hours and are scheduled on an individual basis, accommodating both tutor availability and parental preferences. We offer competitive hourly rates, paid bi-weekly, ranging from $15 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. **
Job Types**
Full-time and part-time positions are available, offering flexibility to suit varying schedules and preferences. **
Schedule**
Monday to Friday, with weekend availability as needed **
Work Setting**
Remote, with the option for in-person tutoring at our centers in Katy/Houston, TX **
