Summary of the role:


  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters according to best practices and industry standards. Must have experience with disconnected environments.
  • Install and configure cluster nodes, master nodes, and worker nodes, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Monitor the health, performance, and capacity utilization of OpenShift clusters using build-in tools and third-party monitoring solutions like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog.
  • Experience in automating infrastructure using Ansible, shell, CloudFormation, terraform and other tools.
  • Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for OpenShift clusters to ensure continuous availability of applications.
  • Manage cluster resources, including CPU, memory, storage and network bandwidth to optimize resource utilization and performance.
  • Experience in capacity planning, scaling and workload optimization as per the evolving need of organization.
  • Integrate OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, monitoring tools, and logging solutions.
