Job description

The Undergraduate Nursing Department at Misericordia University is currently accepting applications for full-time (10 month) non-tenure track faculty positions as an assistant professor for our Coraopolis, PA campus beginning August 2023.  This position may include didactic, lab and/or clinical teaching in the undergraduate programs in medical-surgical nursing and/or specialty areas.  This is not a remote position; an on-campus presence is required.

Qualifications: An MSN degree in nursing is required, doctorate preferred.  Other qualifications include:
  • Current unencumbered Pennsylvania RN license
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate level
  • Experience overseeing undergraduate students in medical-surgical and/or specialty clinical practice settings
  • Experience teaching undergraduate students in lab and/or simulation preferred
