Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Planning & Program Design: Develop and implement an innovative DEI strategy that aligns with our business objectives, creating measurable outcomes and milestones that enable evaluation of program success and ongoing iteration of program strategy and design.
  • Program Management: Oversee and create DEI initiatives, resources, and content from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data to uncover insights and measure and report on the impact of DEI initiatives, ensuring alignment with our goals.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Amplify our DEI message internally and externally, to promote our initiatives and attract innovative, growth minded talent while regularly communicating progress against our objectives.
  • Building Partnerships: Work closely with stakeholders at all organizational levels from the ML leadership team, ERGs, to external partners, driving our DEI strategies and thought leadership across the board. You will be a key advisor to empowering our leaders to develop and implement impactful DEI strategies within their own teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in progressive business management, with 3+ years of relevant DEI, talent management, or change management experience.
  • A passion for DEI and a demonstrated ability to build a culture of belonging.
  • A keen mind for business and business performance with a natural orientation to collaboration and entrepreneurship.
  • Demonstrated expertise in establishing and executing against a shared global vision and strategy focused on impact outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to turn vision into action, inspire and influence others to achieve goals, and of use data to tell compelling
  • DEI stories and drive transformation at all levels.
  • Strong strategic and tactical thinking to address current and future needs.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically to address current and future business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work that focuses on efforts that solve large, significantly complex, and/or highly confidential problems to surface proposals grounded in subject matter expertise and internal/external research.
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions and managing issues related to diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience in issues management and crisis communications
  • Experience aligning DEI efforts with talent acquisition.

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000/year.

Exemption Status:  Exempt

Physical Requirements:

Position requires periods of close concentration and the ability to multi-task in an open office, noisy/busy environment. Must be able to travel occasionally, and work more than 40 hours a week as needed.

Candidates located near New York, NY; Hamilton, NJ; Boston, MA; Austin, TX; are preferred. This position is also eligible for remote employment, excluding the following locations: Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.
